Why Do Babies Cry?
When it comes to crying, it's best not to see it as just the cry but as their way of communicating their needs and requests to you, their primary caregivers.
REMINDERS:
Babies younger than four months old might cry more during the afternoon and evening.
Unfortunately, sometimes your baby may constantly cry and resist your trying in comforting them. As hard as you try, you cannot soothe them in these cases.
Sometimes your baby may cry for several hours a day.
Most babies are more likely to cry in the late evening or at night than other times during the day.
If you experience any of these situations, make sure you take care of yourself. If you find this frustrating, give yourself some time to relax.
Sometimes leaving your baby for a few minutes has a much better effect than being with them but not being your calm self.
You can use baby carriers to hold your baby for a longer time and feel less pressure on your back and shoulders.
For feeling your baby’s temperature, touch their stomach. Their hands or feet are not the best places to measure their temperature.
Babies need to dress one layer more than adults.
When it comes to changing diapers, Some babies are not a fan; in those cases, being playful could be helpful.
Don’t forget the power of singing or using their favourite toy while thinking of entertaining them.
Babies usually become uncomfortable and restless a week or two before teething.
Remember, babies use different types of crying to communicate different needs; hunger, sleep, frustration, sadness, etc.
Once you recognize the reason behind their crying, you are responsible for responding to it.
Until next time, friend.
